Why did Citymesh choose Contractify?
We were looking for a system that would help us find documents quickly through simple tags or names. We also wanted a built-in e-signing module, since remote work had become the norm since COVID. It had to be a solution that was secure and allowed different colleagues to collaborate. When Contractify was presented to us, it met all our expectations. That's how we ultimately landed on Contractify as the solution to modernize our contract management.
What impact has Contractify had on how you work?
We see the impact of Contractify on several levels, especially in time and efficiency. The system is very easy to use and quickly sends notifications to the right people, allowing us to involve different colleagues in reviewing and signing documents. Teams, especially Sales, now take on much more autonomy: they upload documents, request our approval, and our CEO is then automatically notified to sign. It saves us an enormous amount of time, it's much greener since we no longer have to print anything, and we have the certainty that nothing gets lost. Where we used to work with large Excel lists that caused stress with a single mistake or a broken link, we now use Contractify multiple times a day and find it a clear improvement.
How is the collaboration with Contractify going today?
Every two to three months, we have a short call with a Customer Success Manager of Contractify, to discuss any challenges and how they can help. That builds a lot of trust, especially since we see usage keep growing internally. It's great to see the product become more user-friendly over time and that user feedback is genuinely being listened to. We've tried other tools in the past, but to this day, we're still very happy with our choice of Contractify. It really feels like working with a partner who thinks along with us.
Which features surprised you the most?
We mainly expected the basic features, but it turned out the smaller details, like tags, were incredibly valuable. We could link tags to parties as well as contract types, and define per department which tags were relevant. That allowed teams like Sales, Business Operations, and Facility to fully reflect their own internal workflows within the system. The AI tool Ada also proved to be a major asset: she automatically extracts the key elements from a contract and shows exactly where that information can be found. It's great to see the product keep evolving instead of staying stuck at a basic feature set.
How do you use Ada, the AI Contract Analyst?
Ada honestly makes our work a bit easier, since she immediately extracts the basic information from a contract: who the parties are, how long it runs, when it starts, and what the termination options are. She also shows exactly where that information comes from, so we can easily confirm, correct, or add to it. These are exactly the questions we get asked most often internally, like how long a contract runs or when it can be terminated. The summary feature and search function help us quickly search across multiple contracts. That saves us a lot of time and lets us get to work faster.
Looking back, how do you feel about your choice for Contractify?
We've now been using Contractify for two years, and it doesn't look like we'll be stopping anytime soon. For us, it was the right choice at the right time, with the right features, at the right price. The product is simple and clear, which matters a lot to us as lawyers without an IT background. We're enthusiastic because it simply works and supports us every day. It feels good to know we're working with a partner that keeps developing.
